One Person Seriously Injured in a Multiple-Vehicle Accident with Semi-trucks on Interstate 45 Near Madisonville, Texas


MADISONVILLE, Texas — A crash involving several 18-wheelers on Interstate 45 on Friday just south of Madisonville left one person injured.

According to officials, an 18-wheeler hauling steel beams rolled over in the southbound lanes, spilling its load across the highway. The crash caused traffic to slow in the northbound lanes, leading to a secondary collision involving two other 18-wheelers. One of those trucks reportedly collided with a pickup.

The pickup driver was airlifted for medical treatment.
