Recall Alert: Over 32,000 E-Bikes Recalled Due to Fall Hazard


East Providence, R.I. — The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of more than 32,000 e-bikes, citing a potential fall risk.

The affected models include the Specialized Bicycle Vado and Como IGH E-Bikes.

According to the CPSC, the issue stems from a protective chain guard that fails to cover the belt drive fully. This defect may cause loose clothing to become caught in the belt drive, posing a risk of falls and potential injuries.
