Cosco Recalls Defective 2-Step Kitchen Stepper Over Fall and Injury Risks


Cosco is recalling its 2-step kitchen stepper after reports that the product’s safety bar can break or detach while in use, creating a serious risk of falls and injuries.

The recall covers folding stepstools with two steps and an attachable safety bar, sold in white/gray, green, navy, and blue. Affected models include 11349WHG1E, 11349GRN1E, 11349NVY1E, 11349WHG2, 11349GRN4, 11349GRN12, 11349WHG12C, 11349WHG12W, 11349WHG4F, and 11349CBWH4T. The Cosco logo is molded into the handle, and model information is printed on a label on one of the arms.

The company has received 34 reports of the safety bar breaking or detaching. Two incidents resulted in head injuries.
