Suzuki Recalls Defective 2020–2025 DL1050 Motorcycles Due to Risk of Accident


WASHINGTON, D.C. – Suzuki Motor USA, LLC is recalling certain motorcycles because the upper headlight beam may be excessively bright and fail to comply with federal safety standards.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the high beam may exceed the maximum light output allowed under Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) 108, creating glare that can reduce visibility for oncoming drivers and increase the risk of a crash.

The recall affects an estimated 1,543 units, including 2020–2025 Suzuki DL1050 models and 2020, 2024 Suzuki GSX-S1000S models.
