Synergy Housewares Recalls Defective Wolfgang Puck Petite Tea Kettles Over Risk of Burn Injuries


Pembroke Park, Fla. — Synergy Housewares is recalling Wolfgang Puck stainless steel petite tea kettles after reports that the infuser basket lid can come loose and fall during use, posing a burn hazard.

The recall affects 14-ounce stainless steel kettles sold with a removable tea infuser basket in beige, black, pink, and red colors. “Wolfgang Puck Petite Kettle” and one of the following six-digit lot codes — 022020, 022021, 022022, 042022, 022023, or 032023 — appear on the underside of the kettle.

The company has received at least 10 reports of lids falling off, including cases of burn injuries.
