Ricardo Hernandez Killed in an Accident with a Parked Semi-Truck on Interstate 5 in Clackamas County, Oregon

CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. — A Keizer man died Saturday morning after his vehicle struck a parked semi-truck along Interstate 5, according to the Oregon State Police.

Troopers said the crash happened when a northbound Chevrolet Avalanche left the roadway and collided with the rear of a stationary Kenworth semi-truck.

The driver, identified as 28-year-old Ricardo Hernandez, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Public roadways are not where trucks should be parked
