Jeep Recalls More Than 78,000 Defective Wranglers Due to Increased Risk of Accident


AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — Jeep is recalling more than 78,000 Wrangler SUVs after identifying a defect involving the remote start antenna cable.

According to parent company Stellantis, the cable can become pinched, which may interfere with the vehicle’s tire pressure monitoring system. This could cause the warning light to malfunction, leaving drivers without accurate tire pressure information.

Inaccurate tire pressure readings increase the risk of an accident, the company said.
