One Killed, One Injured in an Accident with a Semi-truck on John Kilpatrick Turnpike in Canadian County, Oklahoma

CANADIAN COUNTY, Okla. – A two-vehicle collision on the N. John Kilpatrick Turnpike  Saturday morning left one person dead and another injured, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Emergency crews from the Oklahoma City Fire Department and state troopers arrived to find a gravel truck engulfed in flames and a four-door sedan heavily damaged.

The sedan had two occupants: one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The second occupant was taken to a nearby hospital.
