Three-Vehicle Accident Involving Two Semi-trucks on US-56 in Lyon County, Kansas, Leaves One Person Seriously Injured


ALLEN, Kan. – A collision involving two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle on US-56 near Allen left a 21-year-old man with serious injuries. The crash happened Sunday evening.

According to reports, a Peterbilt semi hauling a 16-foot-wide oversized trailer struck a Chevy Impala driven by a 21-year-old from Gypsum.

Following the impact, the Impala collided with a second Peterbilt semi-truck.

The Impala driver was transported to a hospital in Topeka for treatment.
