International Motors Recall Allegedly Defective LT and RH Vehicles Over Transmission Safety Concerns that can Lead to a Crash


DETROIT, Mich. — International Motors has announced a recall affecting select LT and RH vehicles from model years 2023 through 2026 due to a transmission safety issue that could lead to unintended vehicle movement.

According to the company, the auto-neutral feature may fail to detect when the parking brake is engaged. If the system fails to shift the transmission into neutral as intended, the vehicle could remain in gear and move unexpectedly, increasing the risk of a crash.

Federal safety officials report that approximately 11,418 vehicles are included in the recall.
