iFIT Recalls Allegedly Defective NordicTrack Rowing Machines Due to Fire and Injury Risk


LOGAN, Utah — iFIT has issued a recall for specific NordicTrack rowing machines after reports that the screen console can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

The recall includes NordicTrack RW900 rowing machines with model numbers NTRW19147.0, NTRW19147.1, NTRW19147.2, and NTRW19147.3. The affected units are black, gray, and white, with “NordicTrack” printed on the front legs and “RW900” on the back legs. The model number can be found on a decal attached to the machine’s base.

According to the company, there have been eight reports of overheating, including incidents of fire.
