Pedestrian Injured in Semi-Truck Accident in Batavia, Illinois


Batavia, IL — A pedestrian sustained serious injuries Tuesday evening after being struck by a semi-truck near the intersection of Kirk Road and East Wilson Street.

Responding officers found the pedestrian conscious at the scene. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital, where they were treated for serious but stabilized injuries.

No further information has been provided.

The injured deserves full compensation for injuries

There are very few situations where a truck driver can blame a pedestrian for being hit. Semi-truck drivers must exercise the highest level of safe driving to make sure all pedestrians are safe. Even the smallest distraction can lead to someone’s death.
