Subaru Recalls Over 20,000 Forester SUVs Due to Wheel Stability Issue


Camden, N.J. – Subaru has issued a recall for more than 20,000 of its 2025 Forester SUVs due to a potential wheel attachment defect that could compromise vehicle stability and increase the risk of a crash.

The recall affects vehicles equipped with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, which were manufactured with incorrect lug seat surfaces. This issue may prevent the wheels from being properly secured, potentially leading to instability while driving.

Authorized dealers will inspect all four wheels on affected vehicles and replace any defective parts at no cost to owners. Subaru will begin notifying impacted customers by mail, with letters expected to be sent by March 24, 2025.
