Super73 has issued a recall for approximately 1,400 model year 2024 Z Miami SE and Z Adventure Core electric bicycles. According to the recall notice, the issue stems from a retaining pin in the disc brake calipers that can loosen and detach, leading to brake failure.

Super73 has received 21 reports of loose retaining pins or related brake failures, which can lead to injuries.

The recall involves:

  • Z Miami SE models (2024)
    • Model numbers: 900-00288, 900-00309, 900-00313
    • Available colors:
      • Bandit Black (black seat)
      • Palladium Gray (camel seat)
      • Astro Orange (black seat)
  • Z Adventure Core model (2024)
    • Model number: 900-00308
    • Available color: Sandstorm (black and brown frame)

The model name and color are listed on the purchase receipts.
