The commercial vehicle then allegedly collided with a passenger vehicle that was lawfully entering the intersection while traveling southbound on El Faro Road. The impact resulted in fatal injuries to the driver of the passenger vehicle.

The lawsuit raises several legal theories against M. Gonzalez Trucking. Under the doctrine of respondeat superior, the company is allegedly liable for their driver’s actions as they occurred within the scope of employment. The suit also claims independent negligence against M. Gonzalez Trucking LLC for failing to properly train, supervise, and establish adequate safety policies for their drivers.
