Truck Accident Lawyers File Lawsuit Against Pro-Line Pumping of Texas After Mack Truck Causes Six-Vehicle Chain Reaction Crash

The Ammons Law Firm has filed a lawsuit against Pro-Line Pumping of Texas, Inc. and its driver in Harris County District Court following a serious multi-vehicle crash involving a commercial truck. The incident resulted in significant injuries to multiple victims who were stopped at a traffic light.

According to the lawsuit, several vehicles were stopped at a red light on Huffman Cleveland Road when a 2020 Mack truck owned by Pro-Line Pumping of Texas allegedly failed to control its speed and struck multiple vehicles from behind. The impact caused a chain reaction collision involving six vehicles in total.

The lawsuit claims that Pro-Line Pumping’s driver allegedly failed to maintain a proper lookout for stopped traffic and violated Texas Transportation Code provisions regarding maximum speed requirements and following distance. The driver received citations from law enforcement for following too closely and failing to control speed.

The Ammons Law Firm asserts that Pro-Line Pumping of Texas is vicariously liable under the legal doctrine of respondeat superior since the driver was acting within the scope of his employment at the time of the crash. The lawsuit also includes claims of independent negligence against Pro-Line Pumping for allegedly failing to adequately train, manage, and supervise their driver on safe driving practices.

The victims suffered serious injuries requiring extensive medical treatment, including emergency care at Kingwood Hospital. The lawsuit seeks compensation for physical pain, mental anguish, physical impairment, and medical expenses, both past and future.
