Man Killed in Semi-Truck Accident in Kenosha County, Wisconsin

Kenosha County, Wis. — A fatal two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a 70-year-old man on Thursday morning. The incident happened Thursday morning at the intersection of 38th Street and 152nd Avenue.

Authorities report that a semi-truck traveling north on 152nd Avenue failed to stop at a posted stop sign and entered the intersection. The semi-truck collided with a westbound pick-up truck driven by the 70-year-old victim, who died as a result of the crash.

No additional details have been released.

The surviving family deserves answers

We are seeing this time and time again: large trucks ignoring basic safety traffic rules, like failing to stop, causing devastating accidents. When accidents like this happen, the victim’s surviving family deserves answers and accountability.

Sadly, most fatal accidents result from driver errors or mechanical failures—both of which can be prevented with the proper safety measures. We have handled hundreds of cases where a moment of distraction, excessive speed, or brake failure led to devastating crashes. In these instances, the trucking companies were held accountable to the surviving families left behind.

No one should die due to someone else’s negligence. The family of the deceased has the right to seek answers, justice, and compensation: those responsible for this accident must be held accountable.
