Sebewaing Man Killed in Semi-truck Accident on Icy Roads in Michigan


Sebawaing Township, Mich. — A 57-year-old man from Sebewaing died following a collision involving a tractor-trailer on Unionville Road. The incident happened Monday morning.

According to the Michigan State Police, a southbound tractor-trailer lost control and crossed the opposite lane, striking a 2024 Chevrolet Blazer.

The Sebewaing man, who was driving the Blazer, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities indicated that icy road conditions and strong winds contributed to the crash.

Why was the tractor-trailer on our roadways during icy conditions and strong winds?
