Construction Worker Dies in Workplace Accident at Kwik Trip Site in DeForest, Wisconsin


Deforest, Wis. – A construction worker died Thursday afternoon after falling from a roof at a work site in DeForest, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred at the future Kwik Trip Distribution Center on the 6000 block of Pepsi Way.

Emergency responders found the worker unresponsive and not breathing upon arrival. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been notified.

Family Has a Right to Know What Went Wrong at the Worksite

OSHA mandates several precautions to prevent worker falls. In general industry workplaces, fall protection must be provided.
