Stellantis Recalls Over 79,000 Jeep SUVs for Rearview Camera Issue


Auburn Hills, Mich.—Stellantis has issued a recall for 79,365 Jeep SUVs due to a software error that may prevent the rearview camera from displaying an image while backing up. This malfunction reduces visibility and increases the risk of accidents, injuries, or property damage.

The recall includes the following 2024 models:

  • Jeep Wagoneer
  • Jeep Grand Wagoneer
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee
  • Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Stellantis stated that the issue is caused by a software error that can disrupt the rearview camera feed.

To resolve the problem, Stellantis will update the software for affected vehicles free of charge. Owners will receive notification letters with further details between January 21 and January 28, 2025.
