Person Killed in a Three-Vehicle Accident Involving Two Semi-trucks on Interstate 10 in Iowa, Louisiana

Iowa, La. – One Person died in a crash involving two 18-wheelers and a passenger vehicle along I-10. The Iowa Police Department confirmed the incident occurred on Sunday evening.

According to Police Chief Keith Vincent, a car traveling westbound on the interstate struck a stalled 18-wheeler on the shoulder. Shortly after, a second 18-wheeler collided with the car. The driver of the car sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Victims and families of preventable truck crashes deserve justice for their suffering

I recently handled a case involving a young husband and father who crashed into a semi-truck parked beside a busy lane. The truck had a flat tire, and the truck driver claimed he had no choice but to stop. However, our investigation showed that the tire had been underinflated for an extended period. Trucking companies know that they must do everything possible to prevent trucks from stalling on the side of the road. It is too dangerous. People are killed over and over again in this same type of crash.
