Woman Killed, Two Men Injured in Rollover Crash on Interstate 37 in Atascosa County, Texas

Atascosa County, Texas — A rollover crash on Interstate 37 left one woman dead and two men injured, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The incident occurred Saturday morning along the lanes of I-37 east of downtown Pleasanton and near the Atascosa River.

Authorities reported that a pickup truck, identified as a Chevrolet Silverado, rolled over and veered off the interstate, eventually coming to rest on an unused railroad track.

The two injured men were transported to a nearby hospital. Details about their conditions have not yet been released.

Vehicle Safety Features Critical in Rollover Accidents

In a rollover accident, manufacturers must make sure that their vehicles are built to protect the people inside. But sometimes, this doesn’t happen.
