Driver Injured in a Dump Truck Tire Blowout Accident on U.S. Highway 63 North of Houston, Texas

TEXAS COUNTY, Mo. — A dump truck driver was injured Tuesday afternoon when his vehicle suffered a tire blowout and overturned on U.S. Highway 63. Troopers reported that the crash occurred about five miles north of Houston.

The incident involved a 1999 Peterbilt Model 377 traveling northbound when a tire failure caused the truck to veer off the left side of the roadway and overturn.

The 30-year-old driver, who was wearing a seat belt at the time, sustained injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Medical Clinic in Licking for treatment.
