Dump Truck Driver Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in a Tire Blowout Accident on Interstate 10 in San Antonio, Texas

SAN ANTONIO – A dump truck driver was critically injured Tuesday morning when his vehicle overturned and caught fire on Interstate 10 near UTSA Boulevard.

According to reports, a tire blowout reportedly caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle, sending it across three lanes of traffic before it rolled over and slammed into a concrete barrier. The impact ignited a fire that fully engulfed the truck.

Emergency responders transported the 33-year-old driver to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, including severe burns.
