Francisco Sicairos Leon and Miguel Macias Killed, Three Injured in a Semi-truck Accident on Interstate 10 Near Cathedral City, California

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. – Two men were killed and three others injured when a semi-truck veered into oncoming traffic on Interstate 10 near Date Palm Drive, crashing into multiple vehicles. The crash happened on Thursday morning.

The victims have been identified as Francisco Sicairos Leon, 58, of Desert Hot Springs, and Miguel Macias, 49, of Santa Ana. Authorities confirmed both men died at the scene.

California Highway Patrol reported that three other people sustained major injuries in the collision.
