Construction Worker Killed in Accident with a Concrete Mixing Truck in Detroit, Michigan

DETROIT, Mich. — A construction worker was killed Wednesday after being struck by a concrete mixing truck at a job site in Detroit, according to state workplace safety officials.

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) confirmed that the incident occurred when the truck backed up, pinning a 47-year-old laborer between the vehicle and a nearby dumpster.
