One Person Injured in a Rollover Accident on Interstate 11 Near the Spaghetti Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — A rollover crash involving a pickup truck happened on northbound Interstate 11 near the Spaghetti Bowl Thursday night. The incident occurred near the Rancho Drive interchange.

According to reports,  a black Toyota Tundra overturned. Authorities reported that the driver was trapped inside the vehicle following the crash.

Emergency crews responded quickly and extricated the driver, who was then transported to a local hospital. The extent of the driver’s injuries remains unknown.

Vehicles Need to Be Checked for Defects in Rollover Crashes

This incident is deeply concerning. Did the truck fail to protect the driver as it should have? If so, the injured driver may have unknowingly been operating a ticking time bomb—a defective vehicle that never should have been on the road.

Manufacturers know rollover crashes happen. Because of this, they have a duty to design vehicles that can protect occupants in the event of such accidents. When basic safety systems—like seatbelts, airbags, or roof structures—fail during a rollover, people can suffer life-changing injuries or worse. If that failure was due to a design flaw or manufacturing defect, the vehicle maker may be responsible.

Only a thorough examination of the incident and the vehicle by trained professionals can determine all the contributing factors that led to this incident.

The injured and their family deserve to know what went wrong and whether any negligence or manufacturing failure led to this outcome.

May the injured driver make a swift, full recovery.
