Boyro Recalls Defective Baby Walkers Due to Risk of Serious Injury or Death


WASHINGTON, D.C. – Boyro Baby is recalling its infant walkers due to serious safety concerns, including fall hazards and excessive lead levels.

The walkers do not meet federal safety requirements for infant walkers. Specifically, they can pass through standard doorways and fail to stop at the edge of a step, posing a risk of serious injury or death if a child falls.

Additionally, the brake pads on the walkers contain lead levels that exceed federal limits, violating the ban on lead content in children’s products under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act. Lead exposure is particularly dangerous for young children and can cause long-term health problems if ingested.

The recall applies to Boyro Baby model US-B01 walkers, which were sold in black, blue, and gray. Features include five height adjustment levels, a rotating seat in black or gray, a footpad, six wheels, and four removable toys. The toys include an owl, a flower, a light-up musical panel, and an arch with a ball. Labels reading “Ready To Ride” and the model number “US-B01” can be found on the walker’s legs and beneath the seat cushion.
