Ecogoods Recalls Defective Funlio High Chairs Due to Risk of Injury or Death


A recall has been issued for 2-in-1 Funlio Convertible Baby High Chairs sold by Ecogoods due to serious safety concerns that could result in injury or death. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the high chairs violate multiple federal safety standards.

The affected high chairs are made of natural wood and designed to convert into a chair and table as a child grows. Each unit features a removable padded seat insert in a green forest theme, with “Funlio” printed on the front and a tracking label underneath the tray. The model number, FL-039, is printed on that label.

Officials say the opening between the seat and tray is large enough to allow a child to slip through and become trapped, posing an entrapment risk. Additionally, the chair’s restraint system can fail, creating a fall hazard. These design flaws violated the product’s federal safety requirements for children’s high chairs.
