NICREW Recalls Submersible RGB LED Lights Sold on Amazon Due to Risk of Internal Injuries or Death


NICREW has issued a recall for its 15-inch Submersible RGB LED Lights with remote controls due to a serious safety risk involving the product’s lithium coin battery. The affected lights were sold through Amazon by seller Nicrew CREW.

According to federal regulators, the remote control’s battery compartment can be easily opened, allowing children to access and potentially swallow the coin battery inside. The product also lacks the required warning labels, violating federal safety standards for consumer goods that use button cell or coin batteries.

Swallowing coin batteries can result in severe internal injuries, including chemical burns, and may be fatal.
