Two Killed in Head-On Accident Involving Semi-truck on Interstate 80 Eastbound Near Colfax, California


COLFAX, Calif. — Two people lost their lives Thursday following a head-on collision on the eastbound side of Interstate 80 near Colfax.

The crash involved a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle. Details on how the vehicles came to collide have not yet been released, and the identities of those killed have not been made public.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed both fatalities.
