Two People Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident Involving a Semi-truck on Highway 69 in Pryor, Oklahoma


PRYOR, Okla. — Two people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning on Highway 69. The collision involved a semi-truck, a pickup truck, and a passenger car.

Authorities say the pickup and the car were stopped at a red light in the southbound lanes when a semi-truck, also traveling south, failed to stop and rear-ended both vehicles.

The drivers of the car and the pickup were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The injured individuals deserve answers, justice, and compensation

It’s never right when motorists,  going about their day, following traffic rules, are hurt in an accident through no fault of their own. This is what seems to have happened here. And while we do not have all the facts yet, our decades of experience tell us that distraction or excessive speed are the usual culprits of rear-end collisions. In some instances, other factors caused the accident, such as when a mechanical failure occurs.
