ATLANTA, GA– A construction worker died after falling from a high-rise building under construction in downtown Atlanta on Thursday morning. The incident occurred at 327 Mitchell Street, where a 20-year-old worker fell from the 19th floor.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but he was pronounced dead.

The work accident happened at a site within the Centennial Yards redevelopment project.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has been notified.
