Nissan Recalls 2025 Murano, Pathfinder, and INFINITI QX60 Over Brake Defect


Nissan North America, Inc. has announced a recall affecting select 2025 Murano, Pathfinder, and INFINITI QX60 vehicles due to a potential defect in the front brake calipers.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), 1,430 vehicles may have front brake caliper assemblies that lack sufficient strength, posing a risk of failure.

A failure of the front brake calipers could lead to a loss of braking function, significantly increasing the likelihood of an accident. Additionally, the affected vehicles do not comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 135, which regulates light vehicle brake systems.
