One Killed, Another Injured in Truck-Pedestrian Accident on Philadelphia Street in Indiana, Pennsylvania

INDIANA, Pa. – One person was killed and another seriously injured in a truck-pedestrian collision Tuesday morning. The incident happened on the 800 block of Philadelphia Street, according to the Indiana Borough Police Department.

Police reported that the crash occurred when an APG delivery truck made a left turn from North Ninth Street onto Philadelphia Street. The truck struck two pedestrians in the crosswalk attempting to cross the street.

One victim was pronounced dead at Indiana Regional Medical Center’s emergency room, while the other was airlifted by Life Flight to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for treatment.
