Two Injured in a Five-Vehicle Accident Involving a Semi-truck on US 20 in LaGrange County, Indiana


LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. – A five-vehicle crash on US 20 west of CR 1150 West sent two people to the hospital Thursday afternoon.

According to authorities, the crash occurred when an eastbound semi-truck failed to notice a pickup truck stopped in traffic, causing a chain reaction. The semi rear-ended the pickup, pushing it into a Ford Mustang. The impact forced the Mustang under a box truck, colliding with another semi-truck and trailer.

Firefighters extricated the Mustang’s driver, who was airlifted to a hospital. A passenger in the pickup truck was also hospitalized.

No further details have been released.
