Hyundai has issued a recall for a limited number of 2025 Palisade SUVs due to a potential fire risk linked to a defective electronic oil pump.

The recall affects 620 vehicles that were manufactured in Korea and sold in the United States. The issue involves an oil pump component with faulty sealing, which may allow moisture to enter and lead to an electrical short. This defect increases the risk of a fire.

The problem has been traced to damaged tooling used during the manufacturing process, which compromised the component’s ability to remain properly sealed.
