Deuter USA has announced a voluntary recall of specific models of its Kid Comfort series child carriers following reports of a potential fall hazard linked to specific production batches. The affected products include the Kid Comfort, Kid Comfort Pro, and Kid Comfort Active carriers.

These child carriers are designed in a backpack style and feature a collapsible frame with metal hinges. The recall applies to units sold in the following color options and model numbers: maroon and forest green (model 3621221), midnight blue (model 3621321), and teal (model 3621121). Each carrier is marked with the “deuter” brand and product name on the back.
