KTM Recalls Defective Off-Road Motorcycles Due to Front Brake Defect that Can Lead to a Crash


KTM North America has announced a safety recall for select off-road motorcycle models from its KTM, GASGAS, and Husqvarna brands due to a defect that could lead to a crash.

According to the manufacturer, a potential crack in the front brake caliper may reduce braking performance, increasing the risk of an accident. The recall affects motorcycles from model years 2022 through 2025.

Impacted GASGAS models are red and display the brand’s logo on both sides of the shrouds, while the affected Husqvarna motorcycles feature white, blue, and yellow color schemes with the Husqvarna logo on both sides.
