Michelin Recalls Nearly 7,000 Defective Tires Over Tread Separation and Crash Risk


Michelin North America has issued a recall for 6,888 Agilis CrossClimate C-Metric tires due to a potential safety issue, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

The federal agency stated that portions of tread rubber may separate from the shoulder area of the affected tires, which could raise the likelihood of a crash. The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the NHTSA to address the potential hazard.
