One Killed, Eight Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident Involving a Tow Truck on Transmountain Drive in El Paso, Texas


EL PASO, Texas – A deadly crash involving a tow truck and multiple vehicles left one person dead and eight others hospitalized Thursday morning in West El Paso. The collision, which resulted in a fire, occurred near the intersection of Transmountain Drive and Interstate 10.

Officials say the tow truck hauling a semitrailer struck several vehicles before catching fire, prompting a large-scale emergency response. Multiple people were transported to area hospitals with varying injuries.
