One Person Seriously Injured in a Semi-truck Accident Near the Intersection of Highway 95 and 70th Street in Denmark Township, Minnesota


DENMARK TOWNSHIP, Minn. – A serious crash involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles left one person critically injured Wednesday afternoon in Denmark Township. Troopers were called to the scene near the intersection of Highway 95 and 70th Street.

Preliminary reports indicate a semi-truck struck a pickup truck, causing a chain-reaction collision that involved a third vehicle.

The driver of the pickup sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported for emergency medical care. The condition of the other individuals involved has not been released.

The injured deserve answers and justice

What makes these incidents even worse is that they are entirely avoidable. Distraction, speed, and mechanical problems are the usual culprits of these common yet dangerous collisions. Truck drivers should be held accountable when they are at fault for causing a catastrophic crash. Often, the trucking company should also bear fault if it had negligent hiring and safety practices.

It will not be easy for those affected to receive the justice and compensation they deserve. The trucking company will do everything possible to shift blame or minimize fault.
