Bealife Recalls Allegedly Defective 5-Drawer Dressers for Tip-Over and Entrapment Risks That Can Result in Injury or Death


Bealife has announced a recall of its 5-drawer dressers due to serious safety hazards that could result in injury or death, particularly to young children, if the furniture tips over.

The recalled dressers are unstable when not secured to a wall and pose a risk of tip-over and entrapment. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the product does not comply with the mandatory stability requirements established under the STURDY Act.

The recall covers white Bealife 5-drawer dressers measuring approximately 32 inches tall, 28 inches wide, and 16 inches deep. The model number AP23-W is printed on the product’s packaging but is not labeled on the unit itself.
