Cycling Sports Group Recalls Allegedly Defective Front Racks on Cannondale Treadwell Bicycles Due to Risk of Injury


Wilton, Connecticut – Cycling Sports Group is recalling certain front racks installed on Cannondale Treadwell bicycles after reports that the racks can detach and interfere with the front wheel, creating a risk of sudden stopping and rider injury.

The recall applies to front racks featuring a black metal frame and bamboo tray designed for use on Cannondale Treadwell models. The bamboo surface is marked with the text “ISO11243:2016 YUENI MAX 10KG.”

The company has received reports of the tray separating and contacting the front wheel. Injuries, including a head injury, have been reported.
