Tempo USA Recalls Allegedly Defective Ambiano Electric Pressure Cookers Over Serious Burn Risk


Tempo USA has announced a recall of Ambiano electric pressure cookers sold at ALDI stores nationwide due to a serious burn hazard.

According to the company, the recalled pressure cookers can be opened while still under pressure, allowing hot contents to be expelled and posing a risk of severe burns. The recall includes all Ambiano models 93550 (KY-318B), 96775 (KY-318A), and 98527 (6L-PC), available in six- and eight-quart sizes. Each unit displays the Ambiano name on the front and a permanent label on the bottom.

Tempo USA has received 11 incident reports involving contents being released under pressure, including eight cases resulting in severe burn injuries.
