Graco Recalls Allegedly Defective Inclined Sleeper Accessory Sold with Pack ‘n Play Playards Due to Suffocation Risk


Graco Children’s Products has announced a recall of the inclined sleeper accessory included with several Pack ‘n Play Playard models due to a risk of suffocation to infants.

The recall affects the inclined sleeper accessories sold with the Graco Pack ‘n Play Day2Dream Playard with Bedside Sleeper, Nuzzle Nest Playard, Everest Playard, and Rock ‘n Grow Playard. Only the inclined sleeper accessory is included in the recall. The model number is on a label attached to the underside of the playard frame.

Graco’s action follows reports of infant fatalities associated with inclined sleep products made by other manufacturers. Infants can roll from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, leading to suffocation.

The playard itself is not affected by this recall.
