Allegedly Defective Vevor Baby Swings Recalled Due to Suffocation Hazards and Safety Violations


ATLANTA — Sanven Technology has announced a recall of certain Vevor-branded baby swings. The affected swings do not meet the federal 10-degree incline limit and were sold in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

The recalled swings were marketed for infant sleep and were manufactured with an incline greater than 10 degrees, a design that can create a dangerous suffocation risk for babies.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission warns that infants can roll into a position that restricts breathing when placed in inclined products.

The recall applies to three models of Vevor Baby Swings sold in white/gray or black/gray color combinations. Each swing features the “VEVOR” name on the base and is labeled “Multi-Function Electric Swing” along with a model number.
• Model BB501K – white/gray swing with white base
• Model BB702A – white/gray swing with gray base
• Model BB005K – black/gray swing with black base
