RH Recalls Allegedly Defective Wine Barrel Chandeliers Due to Risk of Serious Injury


WASHINGTON — RH has recalled its Wine Barrel Chandeliers after reports that faulty hanging hardware can break, causing the fixtures to fall and posing an injury hazard.

The recall involves chandeliers made with oak wine barrel staves and hoops, sold in brown and polished nickel finishes. The products were offered in five styles, including versions with 5, 6, 8, or 12 arms for E12 candelabra bulbs, as well as a 6-arm design for battery-operated flameless votives. SKU numbers are located on the top of the fixture and on purchase receipts.

Officials said RH has received 14 reports of the hanging hardware breaking, including 11 incidents where chandeliers fell from the ceiling.
