Todd Curtis Thorstad Killed in an Accident with a Semi-truck on Minnesota Highway 28 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota

SAUK CENTRE, Minn. — Officials have identified the motorcyclist killed in a three-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Sauk Centre as 63-year-old Todd Curtis Thorstad of Glenwood.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Thorstad was riding a Harley-Davidson Cruiser and had stopped at a stop sign on Minnesota Highway 28 behind a Chevrolet Silverado that was preparing to turn onto U.S. Highway 71. As the Silverado began its turn, an eastbound Freightliner straight truck struck Thorstad’s motorcycle and then collided with the pickup.

Thorstad suffered fatal injuries at the scene. No further details about other injuries were immediately available.
