Woman Killed, Man Injured in an Accident with a Dump Truck on US-89 in Fairview, Utah


FAIRVIEW, Utah — A crash involving a dump truck and a passenger vehicle on U.S. Highway 89 left one person dead and another injured on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the crash happened when a 10-wheeler dump truck lost control, spinning into the opposite lane before being struck by a passenger car carrying two occupants.

Both individuals in the car were transported to a nearby hospital. Authorities said the woman died from her injuries, while the man was treated for moderate injuries.
